Russian IT businesses are making a significant impact in Tashkent.

New IT products and joint projects are being discussed in Tashkent by participants of a business mission from Moscow and Uzbek partners.
19 Moscow companies have brought the latest digital market services and their proposals to the capital of Uzbekistan. Their visit on August 8-10 was organized with the support of the Moscow Export Center.

The development of the IT sector and cooperation in it is currently relevant for Uzbekistan like never before. As noted by Deputy Trade Representative of Russia in the country Igor Kamyinin, the digital agenda is becoming a priority in all sectors of the republic's economy. The importance of cooperation in the IT sector was also emphasized by Deputy Head of the Trade and Industry Chamber of the capital Rustambek Baratov.

This is also evident from the results of the meetings in Tashkent. Artem Goncharenko, Director of Development at Cloud4Y, held about 40 meetings in the first two days. The company has been engaged in cloud business since 2009, and among its clients are PJSC Gazprom Neft, the mortgage service "DomClick" from Sberbank, the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs of Russia, Rosmolodezh, "Kinomax", "Yugoria Zhizn" and other prominent names in the Russian economy.

"We are planning to open a representative office in Uzbekistan, as market research and the experience of our colleagues have shown that it is an open and dynamically developing country. In the first two days in Tashkent, agreements were reached with more than 15 potential partner companies who are interested in cloud services. Even a preliminary analysis of the needs of local businesses has shown that our services are in demand and competitive here. I believe that our experience will help Uzbek companies to move even more dynamically," said A. Goncharenko.

"Today, Uzbekistan has become a window to the world for Russian businesses. Central Asian countries have traditionally been cultural and economic partners of Russia. And Uzbekistan is also the center of the region, the crossroads of all routes," said Sergey Gorbachev, head of "IT DataWare".

The company was registered last year in Navoi and provides outsourcing and outstaffing services, including a unique service for Uzbekistan - fully remote outstaffing, which saves partners from different countries more than 25% on labor costs.
During the panel discussion organized as part of the business mission, an expert acted as a kind of guide for Russian companies wishing to learn more about the business climate in Uzbekistan, the challenges of doing business there, and their resolution.

Given the growing interest of Russian IT businesses in Uzbekistan, IT DataWare has become a link between new employers and specialists of the corresponding level or significant potential - that is, the opportunity to reach such a level. It is clear that this leads to an increase in the competitiveness of Uzbek specialists and the mastery of the most advanced technologies. Uzbekistan has a good opportunity for a qualitative leap in the development of the IT sphere.

Among the companies that have come to Tashkent are computer program developers, educational process software, solutions for transportation systems, facial recognition devices, and others.

The products of several participants in the business mission are already known abroad: for example, Recfaces biometric products are supplied to Brazil, Peru, and Thailand, and UseTech software support services are popular in Serbia.

Russian entrepreneurs have had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the tax incentives in Uzbekistan and export acceleration programs for software to foreign markets. All emerging questions and ideas will be further discussed in communication with prospective Uzbek partners.
